Feeling the most beautiful

" Are our actions helping others find a way to feel freer, more dignified and more beautiful?"
I read this question from an article wrote  by Jacqueline Novogratz : What Are You Doing When You Feel Most Beautiful?

This year we worked very hard creating "A memory from the future / Un recuerdo del futuro" and instead of going
to hospitals, refugees, senior centers, youth shelters... we are bringing them to our home at studio 8 berkeley
And we feel the most beautiful. I want to dedicate all this beauty to my father Rodolfo

"The Tea Dancers/Ballet de la Compasión" invite you to a mystical, naive (sweet bizarre)
curious bilingual-multimedia show that includes aerial dance, live-painting, and poetry.
---- And KIDS love this show ----
Our goal is to deliver the seed of wonder, to create petite explosions of splendor in people's hearts, in our hearts and in everything we touch.
Dates are:

Sat Dec. 8th @ 8pm
Sun. Dec. 9th @ 2pm.

Andante Grazioso, Wild Alcatraz, bring your coat (and POW!)

Excited, frenzied, SUBITO SFORZANDO! with intense crescendos and sweet adagios.

We are dancing at Alcatraz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We got invited to participate at the

WOW!
This past Saturday we had a long rehearsal at this beautiful mystic island, together with 40 more artists. We had to spend the night at the... prison. Yes, you read it right!  we had to sleep in the prison cells!  oh my goat!. So scary. Really, I’m not superstitious, but how I bitterly regret not bringing some... garlic!
WHAT. an. INTENSE. Experience.

The people responsible for this wonderful event are the
WE PLAYERS, a revolutionary fantastic theater troupe.
(estan locos)
:)
get curious, show your support, grab your tickets.

At the “Parade Ground” in  Alcatraz,
Mayra and I agree that it has been a long time since we felt such freedom dancing.
Impossible not to get WILD with our coal embers in this beautiful, huge space:

We also got invited to give a talk at one of the many events of
...a talk  about: "Art, Society and Gifts".
October 31st, 4:30pm.
at the Mexican Consulate in San Francisco.

Our Fantasia Mexicana Fundraising was a success.  muchas muchas GRACIAS!
We'll start with the first of our --mission-- performances on October 26th.
(-- here we'll release the bonfires of our cucumber heart --)
grate-fully, grace-fully  dancing for the ones who have it All;  then dancing for the
ones who have nothing.  NADA.
We are the bridge.

con amor

Querida mamita.

These days I haven't stop to think about the idea and feeling useless like a dancer and artist, I mean what can a dancer do against war, jump and dance in front of the troupes?, or go and dance in front of the White House like a one more exhibitionist, or an angry activist? keep dancing whit the dance company?. I know dance is one of the best healing modalities in the society, anyway these days I feel that maybe you shouldn't let me dance, and I should go to study International Relationships or something like that and bring more support (I mean tangible support) to the forces of good.
